Course Outline

Two out of three dental team members experience chronic pain. Implementing proper ergonomics into your daily practice can reduce and/or eliminate musculoskeletal issues. This session will review common recurrent work barriers, look at ergonomic solutions, and give participants an opportunity to try out some of the recommended changes.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Identify ergonomic risk factors in their daily practice
• Understand and implement ergonomic changes
• Understand the need to stretch and strengthen
• Leave with a practical toolbox to reduce ergonomic risks
